That’s how things are. The upper class lies to the poor, and the poor eat it up. Men lie to women about wanting to commit in order to get sex. Women lead men on in order to get them to commit and use their status as the gatekeepers of sex to their advantage. People lie all the time, and the world is appallingly unfair. I was lied to as well. I thought being nice and polite was enough. Turns out it wasn’t, so I changed my strategy and managed to get women.
