All I know that's not strictly biological journals is some folk lore like Anansi the Spider. I was actually born in Malawi, but my family moved after I was born. I remember my folks telling me about Kalulu the Hare as a bedtime story. They say in secondary school they were only taught in English, and read things in English. My mother most fondly recalls the Shakespearean play Macbeth. I've done some looking into Malawian literature, but it looks like what little is there is likely all physically indexed somewhere. That or it's a Chichewa translation of some religious text or hymn book.
