Why aren’t there more diverse and anti racist Lovecraftian stories to destroy and deconstruct his bigoted worldview?

Only Lovecraft Country really tries

I like the idea of him seething at “inferiors” taking his works and making them better

People seething over someone who died over 80 years ago who didn't really do anything is just sad.

Racial harmony is just not a very lovecraftian or spooky theme. You could have a revenge tale of whites being attacked I guess but this is kind of what he wrote anyway in the first place

Why should there be? Everything else they put out trying to attack him is mediocre at best and only manages to prove him right.

Because nobody can touch his work and trying to imitate it or deconstruct it or otherwise invoke it for your own shitty npc trash just outs you as a talentless hack

>Anti racist Lovecraftian stories
There are plenty of people writing Cosmic Horror without any of the racist tropes Lovecraft goes to in his writing.
As for why there are no big ANTI-racist ones, I would say that's because it's almost a non-sequitur to be doing a commentary on race at the same time as cosmic horror. Even in Lovecraft's work it seems out of place for me, other than it being the authors personal views, and certainly period appropriate for several stories. It's very difficult for me to reconcile the notion of cosmic insignificance with racial pride.
Like
>Oh no I am a pawn In a horrible process beyond my understanding!
>At least I was one of the good races though
What even is that? If you're meant to feel alone and insignificant, to whom are you appealing to still feel above someone else? Who is expected to "grade the test" so to speak?

Lovecraft Country really just borrows some of the trappings (and not very well or inspiringly), but doesnt really have anything to add as commentary go the specific material. I feel like it even backfires more than a bit when it gets into the whole "race magic is real but whitey didn't believe a black guy could do it"

Lovecraft uses racism to create a sense of unease at the alien or grotesque which acts as a prelude to whatever insane stuff he is saving for the climax. It's basically like "look at these awful strange people, something nefarious is obviously at work here" moreso than focusing on his own race being good.

He was a typical New England liberal faggot. Even married a jew.

Lovecraft actually wrote a black protagonist going through the basics of a standard Lovecraft story in The Outpost.
