It's a good start for young menchildren without fathers to learn to start changing their lives. JBP is a net positive for humanity, even if his dogmatic individualism is preached like a religion which can shut out men from exploring interesting ideas

Huh. I haven't listened to them, but he has a whole series of lectures on stories in Genesis, each like 3 hours long, but I'm sure you're right. He's not very familiar with ancient literature.

>they call it the dark ages for a reason dumbo
As the accomplishments of the era came to be better understood in the 19th and 20th centuries, scholars began restricting the "Dark Ages" appellation to the Early Middle Ages (c. 5th–10th century),[1][5][6] and now scholars also reject its usage in this period.[7] The majority of modern scholars avoid the term altogether due to its negative connotations, finding it misleading and inaccurate.[8][9][10][11] Petrarch's pejorative meaning remains in use,[12][13][14] typically in popular culture which often mischaracterises the Middle Ages as a time of violence and backwardness.[15][16]

The 20th century was, by far, the absolute most horrific time to be alive in human history for the majority of people. If you care about war, violence and ass-backward belief systems, then you should have no problem acknowledging that none of what you mentioned compares to even the first fifty years of the 1900s.

His fakeness is a problem but at least it inspires secular dumbos to read scripture. Wait, actually it doesn't since they will just let JBP comment on it and leave it at that. That graph is fake propaganda; not sure why leftiest push it. That graph was made by the EPI
>The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit American, left-leaning think tank based in Washington, D.C., that carries out economic research and analyzes the economic impact of policies and proposals. The EPI describes itself as a non-partisan think tank that "seeks to include the needs of low- and middle-income workers in economic policy discussions".[2] It is affiliated with the labor movement[3][4][5] and is usually described as presenting a left-leaning and pro-union viewpoint on public policy issues.[6][7] The EPI has a sister organization, the EPI Policy Center, which is a 501(c)(4) organization for advocacy and education.
Basically, a bunch of corrupt union representatives and their lefty political hacks are pushing that non-sense to gain more political power.

In all honesty, his work is great to get you started off. His writings aren't meant to be intellectual or innovative, just a how to guide for those in the deepest pits of life - it's why i think people who live relatively normal lives will not benefit from it.

I know a lot of things he says are common sense, but when you are rock bottom and staring at a wall for hours with suicidal thoughts, sometimes you need a small father figure to tell you simple things to sort your shit out.

It honestly does help. Cleaning your room, exercising, and sticking to a strict diet got rid of my suicidal thoughts and that's enough for me.
