“...Women have preserved this `baby look' for as long as possible so as to make the world continue to believe in the darling, sweet little girl she once was, and she relies on the protective instinct in man to make him take care of her.
As with everything a woman undertakes on her own initiative, this whole maneuvre is as incredible as it is stupid. It is amazing, in fact, that it succeeds. It would appear very shortsighted to encourage such an ideal of beauty. For how can any woman hope to maintain it beyond the age of twenty-five? Despite every trick of the cosmetics industry, despite magazine advice against thinking or laughing (both tend to create wrinkles), her actual age will inevitably show'- through in the end. And what on earth is a man to do with a grown-up face when he has been manipulated into considering only helpless, appealing little girls to be creatures of beauty?

What is a men to do with a woman when the smooth curves have become flabby tires of flesh, the skin slack and pallid, when the childish tones have grown shrill and the laughter sounds like neighing? What is to become of this shrew when her face no longer atones for her ceaseless inanities and when the cries of `Ooh' and Ah' begin to drive him out of his mind? This mummified `child' will never fire a man's erotic fantasy again. One might think her power broken at last.

But no, she still manages to get her own way - and for two reasons. The first is obvious: she now has children, who enable her to continue feigning helplessness. As for the second - there are simply not enough young women to go around.
It is a safe bet that, given the choice, man would trade in his grown-up child-wife for a younger model, but, as the ratio between the sexes is roughly equal, not every man can have a younger woman. And as he has to have a wife of some sort. he prefers to keep the one he already possesses. This is easy to prove. Given the choice, a man will always choose a younger woman.”

that's the problem; if you were a normal or above-average guy you wouldn’t need to have something as intuitive as sexuality explained to you because you already have a rough idea of what women are like in your head through experience, even if it's difficult to put into words. Only autistic losers and beta male failures need to have social skills and sexuality explained for them with pie charts and great walls of text as it's the only thing that computes in the fragile, neurotic mind of the Aspergers-ridden faggot. The fact that you're asking some random guy on the internet on an anonymous forum to explain females to you means that it never even began for you. All of the pseudo-intellectual prose and quack theory books written by incels in this thread only serves to illustrate how bitter these people are, that they know deep down that they are unlovable genetic dead ends and so like any good postmodernist/deconstructionist they write endless word salad demeaning said thing that they suck at to cope with their abject inferiority.

Jane Austen is definitely a woman, but she's not all women. her books are very satirical and ironic and probably not what you're looking for at all. she has a very peculiar mind and attitude and the books mostly consist of her dryly but affectionately making fun of her characters.

I'd say a good book for what you want is My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante, assuming that your request was in good faith. It's a nuanced portrayal of female relationships as a girl grows up that includes all the cattiness etc

>Saw this on /tv/ yesterday:
There is no way you can date women meaningfully and not end up completely disgusted by them and relationships in general. I've dated countless women, probably because of a complex I developed in high school honestly. Really quickly, around like the 6th girl, I noticed they all behaved almost identically. You would swear we're in a really lazy simulation if you have any pattern recognition abilities at all and date around a little. The internet hasn't helped because when you compare experiences with other guys, they're all so fucking similar its eerie. It's like all women are just instances of one original template. They all run VERY algorithmically. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is why PUA shit was/is so successful and why experienced men just get more and more women. Women are so similar from one to the next that once you "solve" them, you can run the exact same patterns of behavior on all of them and get almost anyone.

Everyone has the story of the girl who wanted to either suck your dick during family night with her parents, or jerk you off under the table while her grandma was there, or fuck you in a location where children are casually walking around, or some other atrociously inappropriate scenario where the probability of you getting caught and suffering enormous repercussions was approaching 1. There's a reason for this that I won't get into, but when you understand reasons like it, you start to "get" women as the machines that they are. Every guy has stories of a girl progressively leaving more and more shit at his place. Usually a hair straightener is the key one. Are they even consciously aware they're doing this? Every guy has experiences of "The Vacation" or other project a girl gets in her head that she serves up to you as an epic quest that you need to complete or else every good deed and all of the loyalty you've shown her to that point is invalidated.

And what do you think would be a better way of organizing society, if there is no love, and therefore no reason to care about others? Making every child an orphan? Plato's republic-style orgies between esteemed citizens while the government raises children? Soviet orphanages, where the children are indoctrinated and groomed to be apparatuses and extensions of the state? I'm not being facetious, I'm genuinely curious.

>Love isn't real
It is, it's just not eternal limerence like many people imagine. In a healthy marriage, after a few years, the romantic love morphs into familial love and you start seeing your spouse like a sibling.

>> No.19178632

>>19178587
People confuse affection (familial affection, especially) for love. "Love" conceptually is like "hope," meaningless drek where role enculturation engenders suboptimal relationships via subordination expectancy in partners. It means sweet fuck-all. Parents groom their children because that's what the cycle demands, there's no moral component. Parents represent oblique conservatism by virtue of age, it's just shorthand. As an adolescent you're expected to sex other adolescents (media conditions us for this, it's quite explicit about it most of the time), which strains parent-child relations by illustrating a clear severance with innocence that creates conflict (adults forced to set limits for neo-adults). Additionally, most Americans despise their parents and lack the ability to communicate as individuals when their roles are intransigent according to the media they were enculturated with. Children stop "loving" their parents around age 10, any affection is quickly replaced by embarrassment. As arguments in the home become more frequent and limit-setting becomes more difficult, the embarrassment turns to hate. This is carried into adulthood, where flex-culture dominates. None of this is novel, it's basic shit I go over with pts in the clinical setting.

Once again, I disagree with your points, even if I can empathise with your view, and even recognize myself in some of your examples cited. I see you didn't state any better alternative to parenting, or 'grooming' as you say.
>Parents represent oblique conservatism by virtue of age, it's just shorthand
I don't really believe that the act of parenthood is done solely, primarily, or even secondarily for the sake of political ideology or conservatism. It's an instinct that goes much deeper, more real and necessary, than any larger social hierarchy or social organization, though no such hierarchy or organization can survive without children. If I'm not misunderstanding you, and that is what you're arguing.
>As an adolescent you're expected to sex other adolescents (media conditions us for this, it's quite explicit about it most of the time)
I literally know of no parent, society, or culture that expects pre-teens to screw other pre-teens. It's only hollywood jew bullshit that even tries to say that's normal. Sexuality before puberty is damaging, because there is no desire, knowledge, or working parts there.
>None of this is novel, it's basic shit I go over with pts in the clinical setting.
By pts, do you mean patients or parents? And, what is the field you're studying/in college for? The degree you're hoping to obtain, or career you're currently in?

Its not a political point, I'll use the Jungian metaphor that >>19178686 is trying to bait me with and call it an engram or collective interpretation in the vein of Boas.

I don't know what to tell you, anon. It's pretty commonplace - ever seen Bo Burnham's Eighth Grade (2018)? That's the reality for a younger demographic (most elementary students, unless heavily sheltered). The author you're looking for's Colette, OP. Read the Claudine series then top it off with The Vagabond. She's both gauling and entertaining at the same time, i.e. accurate. Women are serious doubters, always thinking, always making adjustments, always fucking things up; men, generally speaking, are impatient, brutal fools. This doesn't mean that there can be no mutual understanding (over time) but essentially what a successful relationship is is a lengthy period of unending compromise.

>I deal with have experienced some degree of alleged abuse that manifests in sexually maladaptive behaviors that they perpetuate... on younger siblings or peers
If you don't mind my asking for a bit of free advice, I have a younger family member(around 13) who's tried watching porn with friends and extended family(once, though he wasn't alone, with a boy of 8 years old). What should I do, or say, when I talk to him about that? I'm fairly certain it's not good, socially acceptable, or healthy, but I don't want my advice to be discarded. I'm not worried about my relationship with him(we barely see each other anymore anyway), but I want to make sure he knows that's an unhealthy thing to do. Or, well, I'm no expert. What do you recommend I do or say to help him or get him help?

>> No.19178907

>>19178857
Ask him why he's interested in porn. He'll deflect (I don't know) or minimize (it's not a big deal), watch his affect (is his expression congruent with what he's saying, is he uncomfortable, where is he looking) - remember, it's not not unhealthy to have developed a sexual appetite by 13 - but if you hear something and you're concerned, please pass that information along to an authority figure he still respects (parents, grandparents). If this behavior continues, he may need an inpatient evaluation. This doesn't sound bad (obviously I don't have all the information), in my practice we would do a work-up and determine eligibility for medication (if warranted). If he was assaultive, he would qualify for residential treatment depending on his degree of functioning and prior hospitalizations. If he's a danger to himself or others he can be treated inpatient at a behavioral hospital. If it's just pornographic obsession, 2-3 sessions with an outpatient LIP should give you enough infirmation to establish a baseline. If you feel strongly about this, please intervene; it may be nothing, but just in case.

>> No.19178920

It really is the one valuable thing you can take out of that book, because it's otherwise a pile of shit.

She describes with eloquence her taste in men: tall, white but with a dark complexion, rich and decisive. Intelligence comes in second place but it is valued. Do not be mistaken, these tastes are the norm for the vast majority of all women worldwide.

She describes her own feelings towards these men, how she wishes she was taken away by them, taken by force, how they are bigger and stronger and generally better than her, how fascinated she is by how they do what they please. If you can show a girl you're impressively superior to her in any field, without being intimidating or offensive to her about it, she will notice you.
We're also lucky she describes what men she doesn't like and why. Indecisive, mentally and physically weak men that she, I quote, "could crush" are repulsive to her. This is the sort of men pushy journalists or paparazzi are. Human vermin. And she hates them, hates them with a passion.

And finally there's the fantasy about fucking not one, but three of them, the cream of the crop, all of them madly in love with her above all other women, because oh yes she IS special, she is the one for all of them, and they chose her because she is the best and not only does she do this with impunity but pride because through her association with them, she wields a perceived unlimited power

This is of course what women think concerning men. It really is their chief mental occupation, believe it or not. There are also lengthy passages of her thinking and speaking more generally, but I leave them to you, if you intend to read the book.
Every Dagny Taggart dialogue is a window into the female psyche because Ayn Rand wrote her with her own self in mind and was the most candid so as to be believable.
She's insufferable, but if you want to learn how women think, especially city women of the last two and a half centuries, that's it.

This post is perhaps my only excuse for not considering the reading of that book a complete waste of time. Take that as you will

If you want to keep a wife for life you have to make her feel desirable(but not too desirable) while keeping yourself desirable for 60+ years. This is why men marry down, it's how you stay happy.
