19111959 No.19111959 [Reply] [Original]

I'm going kinda crazy I just checked my bank account and I spent $1200 on books this year and I haven't read a single one. I save almost all my money and I get buyers remorse when I have to spend $400 on a phone but I didn't realize I've spent $1200 because of how cheap the books are. $4 here. $8 here $12 here added up to $1200 and I haven't read a single book. I thought I spent like $400 at most but I've spent $1200. I don't know what to do. Should I sell them off? I'm not working at the moment

My rule is I only allow myself to buy 1 book per week, unless I have have more than four books on my shelves that I haven't read.

They're all based books. I might actually be able to make a profit. I wait until expensive out of print books accidentally go up for like $13 used.

I know I sound like a boomer, but OP got goods, storage, time, and the internet, you don't need more than that to start an online bookshop. Next step is moving into an apartment on ground level with space to sell and space to live.

Dude , you need to start buying at strictly book sales and estate sales. Also ebay or just go to the library. Don’t buy books unless you can get at least 1.5x you bought it for if u decide to sell it
