If you’re interested in Buddhist phenomenology and metaphysics, you shouldn’t read any sutras, you should read the works of Buddhist philosophers like Nagarjuna.

Where do I start? I've seen that start with the jeets chart thrown around but there seem to be a lot of books on Nagarjuna and madhyamaka, mind only and other things.

If you’re not already acquainted with basic Buddhist philosophy, read In the Buddha's Words: An Anthology of Discourses from the Pali Canon. If you’re further interested in Buddhist, continue on with Nagarjuna’s Seventy Stanzas and Middle Way.

Good when you have aspirin on hand.
Looking at how another high-ranking Tibetan lama sends for treatment, say, to a private clinic in Germany (donations were not in vain), you learn the power of traditional Tibetan medicine.

THE Nagarjuna text is the Fundamental Verses of the Middle Way. He did a bunch of other stuff, but that's the important part. The Siderits translation is a common one, and is on libgen.

Also, as an aside, the Diamond Sutra is rather interesting once you get past the beginning (which is a slightly longer-form retelling of the Heart Sutra's contents).
