You know how tradzooms e-convert to Sedevacantism and then do nothing but quote Kent Hovind's arguments for Creationism? You know, the ones that he got from 17th century Lithuanian Rabbis? Eugene Rose was basically that, but in the 70s, and because he was a LARPing orientalist he took up defending all sorts of whacky Russian stuff, like Aerial Tollhouses, which is basically an old Russian Orthodox doctrine where you had to pay the Church to pray away demons that would steal your soul from the angels carrying it up to heaven.

As far as the Church today is concerned it's whacky pagan shit that thankfully got swept out by Communism (it isn't actually pre-Christian in nature, it's entirely Abrahamic, but again it's gone so who cares).

It's funny, because I used to really struggle with all kinds of sexual impurity. Then I came back to the Catholic Church at an ICKSP parish, made a general confession, and never struggled again.
