Count of Monte Cristo
I want to read this but it has so many pages. In that time I could read like 10 different books.
What do? Is it worth it? Or should I just read soemthing else?

>> No.19071066

It's very easy to read and also very entertaining. It took me less time to read than many 500 page books have. If you're truly worried about missing out then just read two books at a time.

I think just about everyone will tell you it's one of the best reads you can find, at least until the Rome arc.

Assuming you know the gist of the story, it's absolutely riveting while he's in prison but it kind of falls apart for me in the middle

OP here, just finished the second chapter. It's really fun. I hope Dantes becomes a captain.

It’s really easy to read, very entertaining, and makes you want to visit Marseille. Yes it’s worth the large number of pages.

ID SELL IT BACK TO THE USED BOOK STORE BUT I WOULDNT WANT TO CURSE SOMEONE ELSE WITH THIS GOD FORSAKEN ABOMINATION OF A PAPERBACK BOOK.

The language is pretty simple, and the story is easy to follow. Like >>19071066 said, you'll progress quicker than some shorter, but denser books.
