Funnily enough it was Graham Greene. I know, it doesn't make sense to me either.

You mean MLA? There's a style package option and setting that to whatever you or your publisher/supervisor like shouldn't be too hard. If that's insufficient, you'll need to learn a little.
>formatting of the bibliography is entirely controlled by LaTeX macros, and a working knowledge of LaTeX should be sufficient to design new bibliography and citation styles.
I recommend the use of the cleveref package to help format the in-text citations themselves. It's also highly customizable.
Finally, Org Mode's latex export function is excellent. It's much more pleasant to write in Org and export to LaTeX than to write LaTeX directly. Unfortunately I've never figured out how to make collaborative editing work in Emacs; if you know how to do it, let me know.
A tip for brand new Emacs users: use CUA Mode. I find myself trying to use Emacs' idiosyncratic keyboard shortcuts everywhere by default and I wouldn't have that problem if I'd just swallowed my pride and used CUA mode.
Finally, I will say that my background is in physics, so LaTeX is pretty well-suited to my use case. I put a lot of work into learning how to use it, and it may not be worth the effort for you.

Why would you do anything but contemplate the form of the good all day? What else is there to do?

>> No.19001399

>>18995703
How did you achieve that? By reading all of Plato dialogues? I don't have the time to read them all, can I do it with only a small selection?
