Why is Bondage and Spanking so pervasive in the Wheel of Time books? I just don't understand it.

As I'm reading through it really hinders my enjoyment of an otherwise great series. And it seems like it gets worse the more books I get in.

Also do you think Robert Jordan really knew very many women? He doesn't write like he did. All of the women in the series are bitches and unlikeable which is patently ridiculous.

I hope Amazon cleans this shit up.

The cast is seriously cringe. Why is Hollywood hell bent on making it diverse? The WoT universe is pretty diverse itself and they can make Seanchan and Sea folks blacks. Nyayeve is my favourite character and she looks like shit in the show.
