How do you bring yourself to begin writing your epic novel knowing there is every chance that it will end up with the legacy of this, or worse, none?

I unironically love this novel. There's so much sincerity and love that went into this fucking mess of a book, that I can't hate the guy who wrote it. I honestly wish I could conjure up the passion and autism to make something like this.

Having a legacy of a well-known outsider art piece is more than I can ever dream of, to be fair.

It's like delusion. If you are aware you have it, you don't truly have it

Confident creators don't think about that at all. They don't concern themselves with opinions of others.

think about it like it's a standard distribution. People who fall at the lowest and highest end think they are great and write. People in the middle post on /lit/ asking for permission to write

This book will be remembered for at least a 100 years.

Unironically based, even if I'm unable to see the merits myself

It won't be because I said so.

Insane boomer obsessed with Jean d'Arc does a biographical reboot and turns her into an all Christian Mary Sue who uses super powers gifted to her by an alien fox to achieve world peace. She survives being executed with an atom bomb by jumping out of a plane. She also solves global warming by turning off the wind with her magic powers. Turning off the wind accidentally kills all the food on Earth, which she then fixes by creating space elevators out of ocean water with her magic powers.

As insane as all that sounds it's actually incredibly, incredibly boring to read, and is mostly just incredibly stilted dialog. The author has a thing for Stanley Kubrick and a lot of the conversations mimic the flat way Kubrick gives exposition. And when I say Norman Boutin is insane I mean he literally is insane. He wrote a scientific paper on how Jean d'Arc didn't feel any pain when she was burnt alive because he couldn't bear the thought of his French waifu suffering.

Should I read this book unironically

I love how in the first paragraph, Theresa sounds like a voiceover you would hear in a show aimed for preteen girls before transitioning to a grandiose, wish-fulfillment rumination on history, time, and immortality.
I guess that's why she was a whiz in school.

you're right
the entire book is schlocky as fuck, but some crazy faggot could get it to work as an episodic tv show.
what do you think, live-action or animated?

Her magic is so powerful that she can single-handedly affect the entire world, so maybe someone could do an animated psuedocapeshit show. I wonder if they would replace the Tony Blair with a Boris Johnson one in the year 2021. Think how some kid's shows had/have a NotObama president.
