illiad->odyssey->Histories->Pennelopese War and diversify from there
If you are interested in plays you have Sophokles with King Oedipus-> Oedipus on Kolonos -> Antigone and Aristophanes multiple comedies
if you want philosophy you can do Plato -> Aristotle and go from there
If you just read the greeks because you wanted to start with the greeks and your topic of interest is somewhere later the Aeniad is the easiest way to progress to the romans
you can also at any point throw in the homeric hymns and hesiod for good measure if you want more of the older stuff

Just read everything by Plato, the entire thing is full of gems, also he writes in a fun way. Aristotle is much more boring, but he was a genius, so at some point you better look at the stuff. Another cool book is Diogenes Laertius Life of eminent philosophers, it is a book by greek, for greeks, about greeks.
