This is a relevant question. I’m studying psychology in Sweden, and my male teachers are fucking insane. One had a workshop with a hundred students where he went to the optician during the workshop - of course, the man was ranting about how everyone is a racist and discrimination is everywhere. The other one uses actual passive aggression on students that question his hate of religion (deemed to be crazy in his eyes). His children are calling him all through the zoom seminars. Real attachment issues, wonder why.

I really don't see this. I went to a public university in California, a region generally considered the beating heart which pumps poison of identity politics into the West's lifeblood. That being said, I encountered very little of this sort of "SJW" stuff, to the point that I can pretty much recall all the times it happened.

Sexual harassment training I have no issue with. As for the diversity+inclusion one, I question it's value, but it took ~30 minutes to do and was only once a year, so it's not a major hassle.

wtf do you study anon? I study philosophy and I haven't even heard that mentioned once. When you go out with the profs to have a drink or with other students, but also in class, I've heard most actively denounce this gender stuff at some point or another, in some fashion.

I mean, the stuff in classes happened over 4 years so it's not that bad at all. As for the trainings, they are a fact of life here. We had our first sexual harassment training in 7th grade (for reference, we students were ~12/13/14 year old at the time), and it was an annual thing ever since. Even in my job we have them. The diversity one began in college, well before the BLM riots, and have stuck with me since, into industry (they are also an annual thing).

There's no escape. I live in Argentina to get into college I had to take a introductory course on the history of said college given by a blue-haired girl speaking in "inclusive language"; a sort of new genderless Spanish that is respectful to "non binary identities".
I have never met a non binary person in Argentina. Literally every student thinks it's bullshit. The best part is that it isn't even a humanities college, it's pure STEM. But it doesn't matter, because _they_ want you knowing about this stuff.

I mean, kinda. There's always the intial eyeroll or joke about it afterwards. But I look at it this way: every society will enforce its religion on those who live in it. If I lived in a Muslim country I would have to pay jizya and learn some aspects of Islam. in the same way, in the West we pay with our support of liberalism (even if its just empty words) and learn about feminism/diversity/etc. Just everyone in an Islamic nation learns about sharia, everyone in the West learns how to move about in liberalism-imbued society.
