Takes place in the year 2020. Coronavirus is a planned virus created by an illuminati-like organization which Trump and Biden are a part of. They want to use covid to kill as many minorities as possible. The main character is a youtuber obsessed with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Hegel. Eventually, someone slips on a banana and another character is a tranny practicing neoplatonism.

a hyperintelligent WASP is born into a family with intelligence connections, then gets involved with a well-connected pseudo-beatnik hippie crowd at an Ivy League school, maybe Cornell, then after graduating begins publishing novels based on research into conspiracies and the occult, he then goes to work for Yoyodyne, a giant shadowy defense contractor where he delves deeper into parapolitical avenues. it ties together all the conspiracies that have led us to the point we're at today. ends with a UFO on the front lawn of the whitehouse and Queen Liz uncloaking and revealing herself to be a lizard person, and a video of hillary and bill eating a baby.

This is more the Robert Anton Wilson approach to conspiracy theories. Putting absurd, obviously untrue theories on equal ground with true ones. Pynchon does not do this. In his books are many pieces of hidden truth embedded within an absurd tale. The surface-level slapstick is a medium through which to embed serious information. Though the slapstick is also of course enjoyable in its own right.
