I literally care not a whit about the embellishments or falsehoods. I loved the book. I only got it for the TRUE LIFE STORY of the Spartans vs Xerxes, and instead I got several books of Egyptaboo comfiness and the hilarious punchline "Hippocleides doesn't care!" that I still think of and chuckle to myself about to this day.
