Very positive about it. It’s a bit too complicated to explain fully in a 4chan post. I wouldn’t call him a traditionalist or a nihilist though.

I forget the exact wording but I remember there was this one very cool line in the book where he says something similar to “Natural state of being for animal in nature is state of constant religious mania”. He compares this sort of noble spiritual wildness to be best expressed through men of action throughout history like pirates, Homeric heroes, mercenaries. Also getting into biology and the faults of some of evolutionary sciences current biases and how that discolors what life and the universe really is. I probably explained some of this wrong but I found it to be pretty great stuff and would encourage you to read it for yourself.

I'm an archaeologist but I have several friends who work with the student newsletter where I used to write anonymously about various events on campus. The first time I was attacked was after a conference of all things after I delivered a presentation on ancient views of matriarchy (probably one reason I got interested in BAP because he also talks about this albeit in a funnier format whereas I was talking mostly about material, etc). This prompted some radical group on campus I have a longstanding fight with to send several goons in black to attack me. The second one had to do with an article I contributed anonymously regarding a Black Lives Matter "protest" that was held on our campus. I documented that the ringleader of the event was not a student on a campus but was instead apart of a larger radical organization and he worshipped Malcolm X (dressed like him, enacted his mannerisms, etc). Someone at the student paper got ahold of my name (probably leaked) and I had goons sent at me. They smashed my car window after I refused to back down (they threatened me to not publish the material). In both cases, no legal action was taken against the perps. This is just the reality of everyday life on American college campuses if you aren't in the cult though. My story is not unique in this case.

Disregarding that, the main point I took from his work was the desire for personal space, autonomy, self-reliance, and independence. He spends a significant amount of time talking about the abyss of "Oriental" life (mostly focused on China --- historically and contemporary). This part, to me, is the most important component of the whole work. Everything else was supplementing it. I think you're mistaking "dumbing down" with comedy. Certainly it's not meant to be a highly academic text with flowery language, etc, which in my opinion has been the bane of philosophy for a long time (probably done on purpose, most "intellectuals" prefer to be fluid rather than concrete to avoid confrontation and critique).

Believe me, I am fighting everyday I walk on campus. I have a target on my back since the first year I began studies here. The biggest problem I have found is not so much the fanaticism of the enemy, but the apathy of the majority. i actually quite enjoyed. i knew nothing about the guy or whatever he is on twitter before reading it. some of the shit he talks about is quite profound. especially when he talks about trusting your natural instincts and in particular about how some force outside of ourselves or the realms of science must exist, because you can simply feel it. made me think about god, which i had never previously.

But, there is also many such cases of nonsense and delusion surrounding some of his beleifs. if you want something interesing to read, i highly reccomend it. In georgia the republicans cracked down on big business when it passed its election laws. There are still plenty of neocon republicans in congress but they are being phased out. It came in 2 volumes before, but he sells a combined version. It's really thick and covers 350 centuries of history regarding "White" people.

This one is pretty obvious.
It would be good to pick up some other understandings. You may want to learn about different religions:

Remember it is important to meet and talk to people from all over the world, listen to different perspectives. Ignore, or just don't take seriously, people who can't discuss a position without using ad homimems. Yes, I realize this will eliminate a lot of leftists. But there are leftists out there who are genuinely intelligent and just have a different world view than myself. I've more "leftist" friends than "rightist" friends and they know my positions.
It just takes time and effort to create a clear understanding.
It's really on you to figure out your own path, and after you read the ones recommended prior to the Goodson book, you'll be able to find your own interest and go from there.
