Recently I have started consuming more audiobooks than normal books. I actually prefer to listen to a book while I wash the dishes or commute or do some other trivial task than sit down and read and I feel like I get the same enjoyment and knowledge from it.

I enjoyed Twilight and Fifty Shades.
I enjoy reading those shitty mass market paperback romance novels that you can buy at dollar stores.
I enjoy fanfiction.
I enjoy YA fiction.
I enjoyed John Green's books.
I skipped most of the Greeks and just read Islamic philosophers instead
I can't read logical notation and refuse to learn it.
I listen to audiobooks while playing video games.

Same for Portal, Half-Life, and L4D fics.

I would like to read (or write) fanfics if I wasn't so afraid of my own words.

I enjoy anime a ton, but I'm a prose snob and have never been able to read more than a chapter or two of a light novel. Despite that fact, I maintain a massive digital library of light novels which I act as though I'll one day be able to enjoy, when deep down I know they're even more worthless than the shitty anime I watch and my capacity for reading shitty prose has actually declined over my lifetime. I also do the same for warhammer books, star wars novels and a few other long running series. Even in middle school I couldn't read them because "the words were too simple and boring" and my autism has only increased, so there's no way I'll ever finish one.

I stop reading a lot of ways half way through.
I've read a lot of books and I read at least 50 pages of philosophy a day, ideally.
I feel really, really bad when I don't get that reading done.

I recently bought two Jung books and Écrits, and still have some parts of Deleuze unread; and a lot of others books I've only read half way. I learn stuff from all of them, but I get bored most of the way in and only finish books I really like. Luckily many books like these are structured as a collection of essays so I'm not missing out on anything structure wise, but I fret missing some important part hidden somewhere.
I always finish novels and well written books because they're actually fun to read. This is a pleb take, unfortunately, and I'm aware of it.

Not that anon, but thanks for mentioning this, I'm really enjoying it. The prose is reminiscent of Kathe Koja's Poppy series, which I liked and have been struggling to find similar media.
