Archetypal-mythological novels with sensationalist tendencies can only exist today if they are self-aware. We are not ancient greeks. We can't LARP as them.

Blood meridian is very strictly based on a historical account. Clearly you are out of your depth.

Did you read the book? Europeans have a harder time enjoying books like Blood Meridian due to lower reading comprehension. Maybe you should stick to something in your language if the book is too difficult for you, making baseless criticisms about it helps no one.

your country is a slave pen for America. When you work, know that part of the sweat on your brow directly contributes to how cool my balls are on a summer's day.

My favorite scene was the story about the harness-maker, and that one scene in the thorn-woods I think they were called. Might have been one and the same, but very cozy and beautiful.

If you act superior to europeans while you have a literal tranny as your health secretary? You must be a tranny for sure.
You are so self-centered and delusional you must pretend that other countries are subordinate to United States of Melanin. My country doesn't even have a trade agreement with burgertards, you absolute gigafaggot.

I am reading this book right now and in the chapter where the kid saw his former captain's decapitated head and I agree, this is pretty damn kino. There really isn't anything special about this book but mcarthy's mastery of the prose elevates it to high literature. Language, word choice, vocabulary everything fits so well with the desolate, barren and garish atmosphere.

If you read a lot of old literature in large volumes you'll begin to naturally pick up that kind of vocabulary. Keep in mind also the dude was a homeless vagabond for most of his life, literally all he did was read, and the shit he did read was very dense literature.
