I think I got the opposite of filtered but annoyed because Kim skips a lot of the early phase of Mars colonization and it did not last long enough. There was a lack of rocks in the later parts of the book in fact.
Too quick does the author want to insert further tension and radical break-away groups in a bigger more Martian international picture when it would worked just as well, even better, with the original 100 crew. Does any anons get what I mean or am I the only one who feels like this.
