Books to help recover from a past fraught with crippling embarrassment?

Due to undiagnosed autism I feel like my childhood, teenage and early adult years are characterised by constant social transgressions that I only realise a few years later. No matter how life goes from here, I will always be the guy who pissed himself during an exam because I thought my paper would be forfeit if I left the room and I couldn't hold it. It feels like every day I think of something equally bad or worse i've done and it's getting tiresome. I think the average person would have an hero'd by now.

This appears blatantly off topic but I genuinely would like book recommendations to help come to terms with being a social retard.

LOL Those things are uniqueness to you, and are worth more than any anything.

Oh yeah OP these recommendations might seem irrelevant but I was a major sperg too and doing this alleviated a lot of anxiety.
