Why do people insist so hard on achieving it? Is it their cartoonish naivety cause by low inhibition, low IQ and in general getting away with everything? This trope is primordial and it makes you wonder if these people are even human. They are the reason why the world is so terrible. It really shows how cruel even normal people are.

Because it's not hell for them. Take women for example, by literally every metric they have more freedom/privileges in every since than all of history. So there's 50% of the population. As for men, you get the urban basedboy types, yuppies who are focused on making money and only get their news from the Wall Street Journal or Bloomberg, then upper middle class whites/Asians who will vote Democrat no matter what, right-of-center Chads/frat boys who vote Republican but favor the status quo, and then the leftovers... us. I've grown up among all groups.

Now tell me why would any of these groups other than us consider this hell?
