Why should I bother reading into philosophy when I could spend my time absolutely loving reading novels like this? There are so many out there. I read for pure enjoyment and to see the embodiment of narrative principles and insights into the human condition, not retards endlessly discussing what life is. EMBODY THAT ACTION NIGGA!

Philosophy is useless for 99% of people, at least with fiction you could be that one cool guy who recommends stuff to people. No one is impressed because you understand kant, but people will love you for recommending good fiction.

It's just wasting time waiting for our time to die, who cares how you waste it.

Because a lot of books aren't enlightening. If you think CUNT Monte Christo is better than Nikomachean Ethics, then you're just delusional.

Bit of a non-answer, but people learn things differently. Some may learn more about life from reading novels about life, whereas others learn more from books about analysing life. It's all trial and error until you find what works for you. The meaning of life isn't discovered, it's created, by you, for you.
