This is important because if the phenomenon had a non-social component, like gayness seems to have, then there would be less of an argument for society being the cause for the recent spread, it's reversibility.

3. Hormones for kiddies is bad because children can't meaningfully consent. If you don't like that, then it's not even an integral part of the argument. Any spread of transgenderism is bad because the newly affected people suicide.
