Prosewise I'm pretty disappointed with German lit desu. It's like we have this beautiful old language capable of conjuring storms and all niggas use it for is to make boring ass realism, which critiques some form of moral degradation and or bestows some kind of moral lesson or depicts society, or does whatever lame bourgeouis bullshit is needed at the time. Why didn't we ever produce Novels of mythical quality like Moby Dick, Blood Meridian, Absalom, Absalom! or Finnegans Wake?
I can't tell desu.
But then again, poetry-wise we are the only game in town. Like imagine nibbas trying to outdo Rilke. Absolutely impossible.
