Jesus, is the underground man literally autistic? I just read the chapter where he goes to diner with old-school acquaintances. He is jealous of the successful Zerkov and can't bear his haughty judgment.
Then he literally paces back and forth for THREE HOURS and gets drenched in sweat lol. He does this while the other 4 people are chilling and drinking on couches and never says a word except for when he scoffs at their mention of Shakespear. What the hell is wrong with this guy just leave.
