Being Christian is like being in an abusive relationship so they have to keep reminding themselves as much as everyone else how much they love their abuser and how he's only angry and punishes you if you deserve it. I tried reading your post and couldn't stand the disrespectful and vulgar language. What sort of term are we looking at? Holy, which is good, and sh*t which is bad. You are wrong because the relationship is not one of abuse on the part of God. The abuse comes from us, because we are given the opportunity to do either good or evil, the former is choosing God and the latter choosing our own (fallen) will. It is quite clear that we have vicious desires and we truly ought to avoid them for reasons separate from revelation. (Proof: the Greeks.) If we do the will of God we end up in the best possible state and we fulfill the purpose of our creation. You do not like the will of God, same as all badly oriented beings. Bad hates good. A better simile would be that of a drug addict and a loving family that offers their hand in assistance. Christians are not upset at other religions generally, they just rightfully state that they are not the fullness of truth. Why would you ask me when you have access to people like 5000x smarter than me who make a case 5000x better than mine? That leads me to question your motives. Ultimately I believe it is an individual relationship you have to progress into in order to remove scrupulous doubt as opposed to a mathematical proof, but if you read the book in pic related it seems like more than enough proof to begin that journey. The reason is that everyone makes being a Christian appear easy when they want you to be impressed with them, but if you try, you discover that it is hard. This mismatch is disappointing.

So please read the Desert Fathers; a book of self-admitted alcoholics and fornicators, and their personal struggle to be saints. These men don't pull any punches about themselves, so they are faithful guides and it is a pleasure to read their stories.

It is my belief that there is nothing that could possibly seperate us from God. There is no difference between the created and the creator. I don't think what you said, about will played out to its logical infinite conclusion, supports the idea that we do not separate ourselves from God. Hell is the infinite logical conclusion of sinful will, and God is not in hell, therefore we are separate. Psychopaths do not throw a wrench into this because they reason incorrectly. Any old reason won't do, it has to be the right reason.
