How about you just read Hume? The Treatise is good, long, and neglected. Read it and you'll know Hume better than the usual /lit/ anons.

This. I don't know why Hume is so underrated on here. His writing, like Locke's and Berkeley's, is lucid af without any obscurantist flourishes.
