Was music or poetry the origin of Greek tragedy?

Greek Tragedy came from greek myths, most notably the epic poems of Homer. Plays, in the early days, took specific scenes from well-known myths and "blew them up", acted them out in great detail. Later plays were more "innovative" but greek drama comes straight from old greek myths.
