Jesus Christ. You may think I'm kidding but I always felt like I was spiritually higher than other people, and I have been wrongly crucified so many times because of that. Jesus is someone I deep relate to and that's why I'm a hard christian.

Honestly, until I finished reading your post I thought this is what you meant:
>For fucks sake. You may think I'm kidding but I always felt like I was spiritually higher than other people
and that you would go on to say
>now I know that I was right, threads like these are cancer
as in that participating in self-inserts or relating to characters in general is juvenile and something only pseuds do. I have seen the argument, and I'm so used to people saying jesus christ as a form of expressing their exasperation.

I genuinely get shocked when i read anna karenina, as I though it was going to be about a cheating whore and her missadventures.

The best part of the book for me was the dichotomy between life in the city and in the countryside. While people in the city were always playing games with each other and living superfluous lives, in the countryside they were honest and simple, not lost in vain divagations. The chapter where Levin works with the peons is pure comfy.

Same, because when people say Jesus Christ, they usually use his holy name as a punctuation mark to express exasperation. When people talk about the person, they usually just use Jesus, without the christ.
