Wrong, but part of the value of going to college is being able to socialise with intelligent people who are interested in the same subjects as yourself. Technically, if you just wanted to learn, you could buy a bunch of books which are assigned on a college syllabus and get the exact same education as someone who goes to college. But you won't be able to converse with students and professors, to enlighten your mind with different viewpoints, and so on.
