In Israel it's part of our school curriculum. Religious schools put a spotlight on Bible study and Judaism and non-religious schools are obligated for a lot less (for obvious reasons)

Any recommendations/guide on which version of the bible and how to read it? Like you say, I want to be able to understand biblical references. I tried when I was younger but I'm pretty sure it was the old testament and it was just endless pages of "thou shalt x", "and then the lord spoketh xyz", blah blah blah, could never figure out wtf was going on or which bits I was actually meant to read.

I was so confused by all the shilling that I became convinced it was just a meme. Yes, Call of the Arcade is somehow entertaining. If you write enough books, you sometimes you accidentally can write a good one. I’m positive this is the case in this situation. With covers that retarded they have to be mostly bad.
