I've just turned 22 a few days ago and I'm worried I might have to re-do my final year of uni (studying psychology). I live with my parents and I'm kind of an incel. I've had the same Fanfiction.net profile for almost 14 years. I was away from it for a few years, but I came back to it in 2018. I actually love writing fanfiction, even though I am actually also a published writer and poet with several short stories and poems published under my own name.

I think it's fun to try to hew closely to the tone, the mood, and the essence of an established work of fiction, even as you're tweaking it to tell a new and different story. I also love to try and get the dialogue of the characters as close to their original dialogue as possible, even when I'm putting brand new words in their mouths. It's a fun challenge.
