Well then, you are talking about a book rather than a religion. not to mention different interpreations of it. If there was no conflict in this, its kind of odd that there is so many different denominations, isn't there? Though Stuctually speaking, much of the original church was rather heirarchical in comparison to most religious institutions and became rather national in character. I would say you would have to prove a correct interpretation of xiantiy first to say something is "inherently opposed to it. If I could, I would at most say the essence of xiantiy in specific is dedication to an ideal over a worldy connection, and if that ideal is that of a nation than so be it, or if that ideal is a community of equils, then so be it. a natioin state or a commune are both an ideal that can turn son against a father and daughter against mother, even though the nation and the commune are made of the family.

Fascism was an anti-Christian ideology. The only reason they didn't kill priests like the communists was because they got into power as a compromise, and since Italians were fairly religious at the time, they couldn't risk alienating them. It's for a similar reason they didn't fully enact the corporatist reforms they initially proposed.

His self-description as 'superfascist' is supposed to be taken from his trial defence so I'm basing what I said on the English translation available online, which doesn't actually include the word as far as I can see. The original is published in Evola's "Fascismo e Terzo Reich," and Elizabetta Wolff's quote from it in her paper "Evola's interpretation of fascism and moral responsibility" seems to be the source of the Wikipedia quote but I don't have access to a copy to check.
