Of course in academia everyone does and is well behaved, but academia is a place which selects for IQ and behaviorbso you can't apply it to the rest of society. In the rest when you walk through a high immigrant area, you don't hear French being spoken. But even if they did there is the crucial ingredient: are these immigrants in solidarity with the host country. Would they sacrifice the good of themselves or their family for the "good of the nation", would they proactively look for ways to help the nation. This type of behaviour is what constitutes a nation.
