What are the best books on the development and decline of gnosticism? I can find a lot online but im having trouble cutting through the regular schizo stuff and get to more scientific work.

Hate to be that guy but does anybody have a Gnostic reading chart/list? I'd like to know more but I have no idea where to start. From what I gather it's a weird occult-y religion-y thing that's a blend of early Christianity and Zoroastrianism. Demogorgon is the bad guy, 3 tiers of people (woke and based, semi woke and based, and NPCs). Something about each race being reborn constantly within itself(???)
