Ellis is a retard, his writing is mediocre at best, and he's an obnoxious, fragile pseud. Have you seen his fucking Twitter profile? Wallace's offhand evisceration of American Psycho appeared to give him decades-long trauma. The best thing he's done is inspire a great film by sheer coincidence, and he resents even that, hence him lashing out at the director.
