Just read this. What are some other books that can help me gain a more comprehensive understanding of the Spanish Civil War and the events that led up to it?

Man's hope is a really good fiction novel about it. It's got a few different perspectives and theres a scene near the end that broke my heart

Not as well written but the perspective alone makes it worth reading.
Kemp got into the thick of it, he doesn't go too much into the politics of the whole thing but he was clearly convinced of fighting for the cause.
