That we have fallen so deeply in love with a detached, anestheticised impression of real life that we have become largely estranged from the things that make living worthwhile and a lot of people now celebrate when more of life is taken away from them, or out of their hands at least, because it is seen only as getting rid of more inconvenience. Not saying strangers should be snogging in the street during a pandemic but people should be bregrudgingly saying "that sucks, the reason is understandable but hopefully it's over soon", not going "ahhh thank fuck another reason to avoid leaving the house, if I never see another human face again it'll be too soon" or "I'm so sick of books, you have to HOLD them to READ them, it's so much hassle".

in the breakroom at work they put up glass barriers on the tables, separating them into 4 sections, which even project outwards a couple feet to enclose the seats, and extend all the way to the floor at the table's edge. I hated the day I came in and saw that because while I was rolling my eyes I also noticed it made me kind of comfortable. the barriers would make it much easier to curl up and feel hidden, and remove any possibility of feelings of compulsion to talk or even nod to people sitting next to you.

all of this is easily explainable by marx engels debord and kaczynski. social distancing, lmao, imagine not seeing covid as a restructuring crisis of capital, imagine not seeing "social distancing" as anything other than the destruction of class consciousness. We're closing down mom and pop stores but giga corporations stay open? here in france they closed down restaurants but mcdonalds is still open. how fucking oblivious can you get? how is all of this not fucking OBVIOUS, plastered all over? it has nothing to do with the virus, it never had anything to do with. that a bunch of suit wearing domesticated asset push for lockdowns is not some grand conspiracy, it is the immanent urgency of capital's need that move these people. they're dead, capital is necromantic. they're being played like puppets because they have relinquished their consciousness, they are part of the eternal movement now. entirely integrated and assimilated. NPCs. There is no conspiracy, ever, just alienated assets who dance to the tune of capital.

I have a turbo normie friend who told me that "covid has killed social life inside the company". marx would cream his pants hearing this. no I don't care about your cia brainwashed anglo take on "gomunism" nor do I care about communism in any way. your reaction to marx is pathological.

Of course people love masks! People are alienated, have no sense of community, they are in constant anguish, fear, paranoid. Masks comfort them in their alienation. Of course these people don't want to shake your hands, see you smile, they have been entirely assimilated.

>I was thinking they want to make everyone in the world as uncomfortable in social situations as I am. they want to turn the whole world into reclusive aspies like me, and that's genuinely a tragedy.
Yes. But autism is already a symptom of capitalism. It is mass produced just like depression. Autists are agents of capital, soulless droids. Human calculators. The perfect worker.

Kaczynski is right, the only dynamic within civilization is that one of integration and assimilation: domestication. As the system grows more and more complex, inhuman, it must implement more refined methods of domestication.

He first explains a panopticon, a theoretical prison that lets one guard look at any of the prisoners whenever he wants, but the prisoners don't know who he's looking at. This shows the power not only of surveillance, but perceived surveillance in shaping behavior.

Then Foucault expanded and applied the theory to modern life. Our culture uses surveillance to create model citizens.
> prison
> probation
> weekly/monthly/yearly work reviews
> social media

But then he went on to say that it's no longer just conventional power structures that use surveillance for this purpose.

> Friend groups are ready and waiting for a friend to slip up so they can correct them.
> you can't control what other people post about you on the internet

So the only power move one can make in response is to internalize the values around them and surveil themselves for compliance to find mistakes before anyone else does.

I assume the poster said to read Foucault in response to the pic OP posted because those people are obviously acting from the standpoint of "if I'm the person loving these news rules I get to be the person watching everyone else for mistakes" but they're also more than likely shills.

Sweden doesn't need mask because they're all autistic, all alienated. protestant countries are capitalist.

Sweden doesn't need mask the same way Japan doesn't need migration. Migration exists solely to displace the radical ethnic population with alienated workforce. Japan has a culture of submission, workers will bend over no matter what, they are happy to be worked like droids and replaced by machines. Swedes are already way too deep in alienation to care about masks, they don't even talk to each others anyways. So no mask needed.

>>16583576
yes I used this term because it has historical bagage, but we're beyond class consciousness. It doesn't matter, since under real subsumption, there is no proletariat/capitalist class, even a billionaire CEO does not own means of production. The proletariat has been swallowed, capital has escaped, as Camatte said.

Still, everything I say is true. Social distancing is the destruction of social relations. IT'S RIGHT THERE IN THE NAME lmao. Everything is laid out right before our eyes.

>> No.16583719

It's deeper than that. You have to understand that whilst the mechanisms of the society of dicipline are still at work there are new mechanisms of control that are a lot more sophisticated and efficient than those of the prision, probation, etc. This new stage on society Foucault called the society of control (different from the society of discipline -Prision, School, Hospitals, etc.-) and it relates to an off-hand way of controlling subjects behaviour by means of controlling liberty whilst expanding it. It's a controlled explosion in some way.

You can read about it on 'The Birth of Biopolitics' or 'Society Must Be Defended', a series of lectures given by Foucault at the end of his life. An important concept developed there is 'Governmentality', it explains the whole thing of the controlled explosion of liberty. Sadly he couldn't develop this side of his work in depth because of his fag aids.

From a whole socialization standpoint, I think the social distancing and mask wearing is pretty good. I think people are now realizing just how overly socially stimulated we once were, especially when every day to day action included a ton of other humans you’d never truely know.

Social distancing and mask wearing has forced us to seek our social needs with those close to us, in our bubbles. This includes families, roommates, friends, etc. This in turn allows us to develop a stronger bond with these people

Well yeah I guess you are right. But in my case I have been absolutely alone most of the time. Familly is atomised. I live with my dad, he is pilot and still flies now cargo plane (b-777 or a-330). My brother and my sister are living with my mom. Sees them rarely. Went to see them yesterday. I didnt even stay 5 minutes in the entrance. Got into an argument. Because my mom wants to know some private stuff about my dad that I know.
I stay home alone and just do and re do my assignment given for college by zoom-teachers. I really like social contact. But I have none. But I come here and I post to my frens here.

Hi Frens!!

Yeah dude, obviously this is how people feel in cities. This is the normal human reaction to being crammed into a series of concrete boxes with the most visually and socially disgusting dregs of humanity when you're not allowed to think or act violently. And, on top of that, you're expected to respect them. In the countryside you don't have this neuroticism because people can freely associate and express themselves naturally. This is how people have felt in cities since they were invented. We inherently want to escape them in any way possible. If physical escape isn't possible, which for these people it economically isn't, since they have no skills, alienation is the only recourse. People crave alienation in cities because it is the only padding between them and the unbearable melanated cacophony of strangers they are subjected to every day. It's only "dark" if you're still logged into the NWO "we're all one race the HOOMAN race" brainwash. It's also about ideology and so on, in addition to visual differences like race. We all want each other to be exactly the same. How many friendships have ended dramatically between two people who were 99.9% identical but disagreed on one retarded thing? It's a seemingly drastic new manifestation of a very simple and basic instinct we all have.

Not him, but all media is inherently state-sanctioned and therefore in some level of service to the existence of said state. They don't allow genuinely anti-state media to be broadcast. That's exactly why leftism/anarchism have been injected with the anti-masculinity pro-unhealthiness (obesity, mental illness etc) narrative. That handicap has been the single most effective anti-left action in history. Any movement without bodily health as a foundation and masculine driving force is utterly powerless. They destroyed their main opponent from within, through media.

dumb bitch, any takeout restaurant relies on food first and foremost, the dining experience is adjunct and unnecessary. they could easily restrict dining and operate solely as takeout but no, chinese takeaway places get fined and shut down because you're only allowed to hand food in a bag through a window when you're a billion dollar multinational parasite.
