Unironically binge read a long and easy series. I used to have a bit of a porn addiction in college, but one day I started reading a series of light novels (there were about 14 of them out I think). They were easy to read and entertaining enough that I just kept reading them whenever I had free time. I read 6 of them in one weekend and it kept me from masturbating or even thinking about masturbating because I wasn't board. The rest of the series lasted most of the week, and by the time I was done I had mostly kicked my addiction without feeling much withdrawal/urges. Just pick a series your interested in that has a lot of content out and keep yourself occupied for a while.

It rely depends on what your into/willing to read. Just look for something you can read a lot of without getting board or getting a headache. I think Jap light novels work well for this since they're just sort of brain junk food. You can read a lot without getting too tired and it isn't amazing but it isn't boring. For example a few weeks ago I read all the Konosuba LN's in a week. Something like that works well because I can read 3 novels a day without getting a headache, and there's a lot of content available to keep me going at that pace for a while.

It's more that our culture (even the elements that claim to be radical like yourself) seems to think having children is something you 1) should do and 2) is an answer to your personal problems (loneliness, purposelessness, etc). This isn't to say I think it's unethical to have children (although I am unsure how to raise them ethically ((which I'm also not saying I am against trying to do that))), but producing lives like they are the solution to your problems will A. not solve your problem, B. is a cruel burden to be placed on the lives you've created and 3. is a literal perpetuation of the problem both in the act of birthing as a 'solution' but also in the high likelihood of the parent(s) displaying for the child that they should replicate this behavior.
