Easy guide for noobs (for kindle/amazon device owners):
Installing DeDRM:
>Download and install calibre here https://calibre-ebook.com/download
>Make to get the latest under version 4.X under "previous releases", DeDRM isn't supported in 5.X
>Download the plugin (zip file) https://github.com/apprenticeharper/DeDRM_tools/releases/tag/v6.8.0
>Extract the first zip, and grab the "DeDRM_plugin.zip" from inside (don't extract this one)
>In Calibre go to Preferences->Plugins. Click the Load plugin from file button and select the zip you grabbed in the last step
>Restart Calibre
Pirating your books:
>Buy the ebook you want on Amazon for Kindle (not the sample)
>Go to Account & Lists -> Your Content and Devices on the amazon website
>Click the "..." button next to the book and click "Download & transfer via USB" to get the .azw3 file
>Drag and drop the .azw3 file into Calibre and hit "Convert books", pick PDF or whatever format
