Im not a platonist, neither an aristotelian. But if you want to know which philosopher has more influence in the philosophy I read, then it is Aristotle.
Plato was a smart man, but his philosophy depends too much on non-contrastative stuff that seems more like a cult, than a school of though, to me. That' the reason why brainlets and illiterate people like it so much, since it is all sustained by "petersonian daddies in the sky or the idea's realm".
