Lmao the Saudi "monarchs" not only lack the balls to tax their populace for fear of being deposed, they also actively bribe them with oil money to keep them under control. As a consequence of having a free-ride on oil bribes they have abysmal standards in education and are terrible at practically everything. Despite having the 5th largest NET military spending, they can't even win a war against a bunch of bumpkins in Yemen. Their antiquated political system has created a turbo-charged dutch-disease which has retarded the development of the entire population. The second their oil revenue comes to a halt the country will crumble.
