Guys I think gnosticism is the real actual reality. Look at how they all died out, because they ascended. There is no need for them enslaves here. while all the world religions are submitting to the demiurge. The reincarnation cycle. They're trapped here by choice. While the gnostics have fled. Do with this what you must. I believe those of us who know the truth have come here voluntarily to spread this very knowledge.

I am sitting with friends. One is to my left. The one to my front right oblique has asked me what I'm doing. “Man, if I was a hot girl and I was into cars...I'd find...” This is what the friend to my left says. I didn't sigh, but my friend to the aforementioned front right oblique asks me “what's up” in response to the sigh. My friend to my left had sighed; it wasn't me; there is some anxiety. I start explaining what I'm doing. “I'm trying to be as present as possible.” It is hard to explain simultaneously. I am writing; I am living. Here I am thinking about the poor publisher again.
I am thinking about how this is a terrible project. There is no story. With no story, what is there worth in a book. Stream of consciousness only goes so far. There's something said about Cobra wheels. I don't understand. Some sort of trade? A cough. A ukelele is being played. More talk of the trade. Trying to find myself in the noise is difficult. I have made this decision to write inappropriately, in the middle of friends, interrupting them, interrupting even myself.

If God (the One-Being/Nous) has Providence, and the One/Good is Providence and is manifest as Beauty and Love and Wisdom; which can be observed here (regardless of whether Gnosticism is supposedly true). Then, if the goal is to become like God and unite with the Good, how can we delude ourselves to abandon what God hasn't abandoned, that the aforementioned Hypostases are present in this world means that God is present in this world through Love, Providence, and Beauty, ought we then to be present in this world as these things? How can we be like God and abandon what he has not abandoned.
This is the Iamblichean revelation, foretold in the Republic's re-descent into the cave. It is this freely willed descent that is the true transcendence.
He ascends as he wills.
He descends as he wills.

No man it flipped everything wrong. The truth doesn't hide, it isn't hidden. The plain truth of the bible IS the truth. You need to rid that part of your imagination that everything needs a twist. That comes from television. Consider the lack of proof of gnosticism.

Well that is a pretty bad example for your case. Philip explains to him that Isaiah 53 is about the messiah. This is a powerful scripture because often is used in apologetics when having a conversation with Jewish believers. It is describing Jesus.

Funny though isn't it that it appears that the NT is the OT revealed? How could Christ be the serpent when He is the Seed of the Woman. You don't understand it unless it is explained to you by someone who understands it? Ironic huh?

Yes but isn't that a matter of the errors of humanity rather than the potential of Scripture being divine through that mask of men. Most of the people here on /lit/ don't have the initial understanding of the bible.
