well, all this is finally inter-connected, symbolism is a manifestation of reality, the semiotic(symbols) realm does exist, materialism and "scientism" is trying to get rid of it but this is difficult because is part of reality, after all we share in conciouness a connection to the divinity because the divinity is a pure conciousness(this is "the logos" in christianity)
