Books to help develop a personality?

>> No.16404984

Yes they can be useful for that

>> No.16404989

You need to live life and be outside talking to people. If you can afford it, move to city with over 600k. Rent an apartment and just get into weird shit. Or go the opposite way, move to nowhere and get weird. Moving to the city first is a better for you, because you will want to get away. Oftentimes men who never had any city experience are total weirdos and their personalities honest but lame.

Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends and Influence People

Now, it's not strictly about the subject of how to develop a personality, but it concerned with the public persona. It's a very good book that holds up well. You should check it out, as well as its companion: How to Stop Worrying and Start Living (which, if your frogpic is remotely accurate as to your state of mind, you could well use).

what do you even do with a personality? do you polish it from time to time and then show it to your friends and acquaintances?

You use it to get what you want. The personality is essentially a tool we use to navigate this dense clusterfuck of conflicting intentions.

Find a person who you think has a personality. Imitate them.
It's not that hard.
