I can't choose but it's tied between Will to Power, The Tunnel, Maldoror or Tomb for 500.000 Soldiers.

Convince me to buy it for $0.50, OP. Is it more than proto-hippie "whoooa, dude" drivel?

I know /lit/ considers it primer material for philosophy but it was gateway into religious and folklore literature which I love dearly

I read this + Heaven and Hell very recently, after dabbling in Ellis Dee for the first time in a couple years. I didn't understand many of the references to art history, but it was a pretty cool read as far as "first trip reports" go. Any follow ups from Huxley and/or his contemporaries that I should read? Thinking of reading Tim Leary's Psychedelic Experience (I've read the Tibetan Book of the Dead) but I don't want to get bogged down in schizo obsessions over "ego death" when I have a hard enough time keeping my own head screwed on properly

This book is pure kino. It interleaves the story of the 1893 World's Fair with the story of serial killer H. H. Holmes, in a nonfictional narrative that is an amazing read.
