YES! We like this.
This is the best format ever. Quite a few well-known works use it (Cannery Row; I, Robot etc) but I've never come across anything that really exploits it to the full. The field is wide open!

This is also great. Lots of good examples. Light in August does it with two main stories. Dickens uses it all the time (Bleak House, Little Dorrit etc). In a lighter vein, Terry Pratchett almost always does it in the books set in Ankh-Morpork.
