This. There are no more intellectuals, left or right, in the humanities. They all employ limited rhetorical fallacies two thousand five hundred years out of date in their thinking. There are merely good technicians, programmers, and scientists. The thinkers of this era aren’t even an Edison lightbulb - dimwits.

Because right wing politics and ideologies are a means of justifying (social, economic, political) oppression and can't stand up to rigorous analysis. Racism, right wing economics and fascist "theory" are all means of justifying the aggregation of wealth by the few at the expense of the many. They're a distraction from the ills of capitalism, which those who push these ideologies depend on. If you're right wing, whether you know it or not, you are a pawn used by powerful elites to justify their position in society.

There is a reason why your fellow lefties have been burning their statues and cursing the civilization those intellectuals created, my friend.
They really were all racists, supremacists of some sort (usually intellectual supremacists), often nationalists, prejudiced against certain religions, colonialists and more. This is an absolute fact. All of those left-wing accusations are entirely true: Western Intellectuals really were like that, whether you like it or not. Even Voltaire profited from slavery.

Saying ''But Aristotle would be a leftist today, just like me!'' is just one big cope, because no one has absolutely any idea what he would be like. In fact, we don't even know if Aristotle would have been a philosopher. I suspect he might have been a dramatist or a zoologist, rather than a philosopher. Also, if he were alive in 2020, he wouldn't be Aristotle, but some other person, because the Aristotle we know died more than 2000 years ago.

I know you're too ideologically entrenched to see reason, but Evola is possibly the most educated of everyone on that list.
Fluent in several languages, well versed on Eastern religions, to the degree that they publish his texts in the east, or did.
And literally rich enough to spend his entire life studying in solitude.

Most corporations "side with BLM" in name only and in practice benefit from things that BLM stands against. Ending economic discrimination of minorities requires the types of changes (e.g. higher taxes, stricter laws against discrimination) that large corporates are definitely against. See McDonald's, Amazon, etc.

Most billionaires aren't really "against" Trump's policies, they just "prefer" Democrats because they give America a nicer face and think that they'll offer more stability. On the economic front, Republicans and Democrats don't differ much, except for a select few like Bernie and AOC.

Know what? I've read most of whats available of Lacan, Hegel with the exception of Logic and Rechtsph., and I've read some Žižek, notably The most sublime hysteric, his thesis, and some of the newer works like Courage. And I still have no idea why he calls himself a leftist. What he does is hegelianism, with a psychoanalitic bent via jokes as expressing the unconsciouss / doing dialectic. No big news there lol but the man has more or less admitted communism after the totalitarian experiment is over, unlike modern larpers.

>> No.16276739

You serious? There's a long history of big businesses expressing sympathy for the leftist issues that pose no real threat to them, which is why they always support social issues revolving around things like race and gender but are silent about labor struggles. That way they maintain control without making enemies. If they were more openly oppressive and simply sided with the Republicans we'd see the emergence of stronger labor movements, which is what they really don't want.

>Fascism is not capitalism in decay, it's capitalism in action. It's just part of the super structure used to justify its worst aspects.

No, no... read Gregor's works. That fascism is "pro-capitalism" is Julius Deutsch' take, which actually contained allusions towards irrational tendencies of the latin races. It's all very unconvincing, clashes with the historical record, as business was subordinated to the state, and its collectivism clearly subverts private property.

What is really ideological here is that Marxism can be the only, the One Revolutionary Movement, which is a quasi hegelian stance, but really isn't if you refer to, say, the bacchanalian revel.

>If thousands will be hospitalized for respiratory problems, a vastly increased number of respiratory machines will be needed, and to get them, the state should directly intervene in the same way as it intervenes in conditions of war when thousands of guns are needed, and it should rely on the cooperation of other states. As in a military campaign, information should be shared and plans fully coordinated – This is all I mean by ‘communism’ needed today.

I haven't read Deutsch or Gregor, but Fascism has consistently portrayed socialism as the enemy for a reason: because it jeopardizes the ability of those in power to exert and grow that power (i.e. through the aggregation of capital). In that equation, the state creates and enforces the laws (i.e. property rights) that justify capitalism and enable capitalism.

Because right wing is anti-intellectual and against academia. All these public intellectuals are resentful, impotent faggots and tools of the System.
The right wing looks up to the Warrior/Aristocrat

Still if you want le theory
Spengler, Evola, Junger, deMaistre, Schmitt, Weber, St Aquinas, Vico
