Why can't 4chan "theists" just ditch all the judeo-christian dogmas made for social control and come to terms that no organized religion will ever come close to reveal what God is?

There he said it. People who follow religion seem to bot have experiences god. If you had you could no longer fall for their artificial and pointless constructs.

The dogmas made for social control are the point for 4chan religious larpers. Do you think they go to church? No, anon, it's just part of the traditionalist fantasy.

What makes you think Plotinus is right? If God is indeed real, then we are all fucked because this existence is completely separate from God.

Buddhism, Christians, any real religion leads to being anti existence, anti natalist.

I wouldn't call Plotinus a prophet, but if there ever was a man to be intimate with God, it was him.

>this existence is completely separate from God

Damascius points out that “as long as Dionysus sits on the throne of Zeus, he is undivided,” but Dionysus does not stay on the throne for long, since he becomes divided when the Titans dismember him. The Neoplatonic idea here goes back to a passage of Plato’s Timaeus, which says that between indivisible and divisible Being, there is a middle point that is both Same and Different.
According to Neoplatonic allegory, Dionysus representing the universal soul is the undivided Same while he sits on the throne of Zeus, but when the Titans dismember him, he becomes Different (i.e., plurality). His dismemberment represents the fragmentation of Soul into seven portions, which correspond to seven numerical ratios. With reference to this passage of Plato’s Timaeus,
Proclus says,
>The remainder of the god’s body is the whole psychic composite, since this is also divided in seven: “they divided up all seven parts of the boy,” says the theologian about the Titans, just as Timaeus divides the soul into seven portions. Perhaps the fact that Soul is stretched through all the cosmos is meant to remind the Orphics of the Titanic division because, not only does Soul envelop the universe, but it is also stretched through all of it.
Dionysus’ dismemberment represents the fragmentation of the universal Soul into its many parts, extending throughout the universe. This is what the Neoplatonists mean when they refer to “Titanic division.”

There has to be a first cause, something that started reality, and we might as well call it God. But that doesn't mean it cares about us.
